Walsall Eyes Engage with Council Over Connected Gateway Project

Since late summer of 2024, our charity has been actively engaging with representatives from the council regarding several large-scale changes that will impact the town over the next few years. These include, but are not limited to, the Connected Gateway Project, changes to street trading rules, and ongoing consultations surrounding crime and personal safety in the area.

Walsall Eyes Holds 2025 AGM and Sets Priorities for Forthcoming Year

On Saturday 15th February 2025, we held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the offices of Walsall Society For the Blind (WSB).

We are pleased to report that following the formal resignation of all directors, all have once more been successfully re-instated to their previous roles due to their willingness to continue their duties and the willingness of the members present to second them.

Black Country Living Museum

A fantastic day was had by all when Walsall Eyes visited the Black Country Living Museum. We were well supported throughout the day by the fantastic volunteers they offered, who also came with a great deal of local history knowledge. The sun even stayed out all day, which made it even better :)
