As a result of the hard work and dedication of some of its founding members, Walsall Eyes was both incorporated as a registered charity and also a Private Limited Company (PLC) on 14th March 2005.

It was felt at the time that obtaining these statuses would give the group a more stable financial basis from which to operate, as well as an ability to build its reputation and presence in the community due to its charitable status.

Since then, the directorship and members have changed significantly, but many of our core values, as well as some of our long standing members, still remain, allowing us to operate through increasingly challenging times.

We primarily serve the metropolitan borough of Walsall and its surrounding areas.
